Highly recommend fiber-protein-healthy fat-carbohydrate eating order

This trick worked well for me if you haven't heard of it, eating in order fiber, before protein/healthy fat, then carbohydrate to manage blood sugar, I had a salad with chicken and avocado yesterday before a piece of dulce de leche cheesecake (caramel and fudge sauce on it) and there was no spike, t

Yes, this has been discussed quite a bit in the group. I have to admit, the "carbs" of the eating order for me do not regularly include the kinds of decadent, refined carb) desserts you tested with. I reserve treats like that as a rare indulgence. The eating order can work, but do be careful you don't use it as a rationale to have a lot of refined carbs on a regular basis.

I mean, chocolate cake with peanut butter frosting and I didn't even get to 140 thanks to that salad...and maybe the peanut butter too. Im over the moon. i may have good metabolic function, Im still trying to  find that out, but that is definitely a good trick.

Are you using cgp or glucometer? I've heard of people missing their spike on a glucometer with pizza because the fat delays it so long.

It's a cgm, I was 109 three hours ago, it's 135 now, never got to 140. Maybe the cake didn't have a lot of sugar, but the salad did it.
