Inform your travel companions about your condition. It's important that anyone travelling with you is prepared and can help you if needed. Especially for short trips, make sure you're organised so you don't get caught unprepared if your flight or train gets cancelled and you end up staying away for 1-2 extra days. It doesn't take much to be ready! For any trip, whether abroad or within your own country, even if it's only for a few days, the same general rules apply to prepare as well as possible.
