what the title says! looking for a good sour gummy candy with low glycemic impact that also won't make me shit myself with ultra high fiber content. so far i've only tried smart sweets (low sugar but has a potato starch base which is high impact). obviously low price point is preferred, but not req

Gummy candy made with fake sugar will cause you to shit your pants, not because of fiber, but because fake sugar used in gummy candy has a laxative effect.

Gummy candy made with regular sugar will act as candy.

Your best bet is to eat them after a large protein or fatty meal so they digest slower.

I have tried every type of low/no sugar sour candy that I could find and while they aren’t bad, none of them come close to being like the full sugar kind. It’s like they put too much fake sugar and not enough ‘sour’.  One of my biggest pet peeves is the overuse of fake sweeteners in products. I don’t even like super sweet real sugar things in the first place so I definitely don’t want it in anything else.

It’s not candy, but Fruit Riot makes frozen sour grapes and they are sour, and they don’t mess with my numbers. Obviously everyone is different, so they might not work for you.

I found that sugar alcohols cause tremendous gas. Some low sugar candies have a lot of it.

The only ones I've found use malitol as their sugar substitute, which not only upsets my stomach, but also somewhat spikes my blood sugar.

Joyride uses Allulose. It’s not completely sugar free but it’s 70-80% less than regular ones and they are tasty.

I know it makes zero sense but I can eat 4-5 Albanese sour without meaningful impact! Can't eat Haribo without issues

Look at Joyride.

Second this! They've got some tasty candies that don't seem to impact my glucose much. They are not, however, cheap.

I got some sugar free atkins sour gummy bears for Christmas but I haven’t tried them yet! I love their regular sugar free gummy bears but I can eat one pack a day max without having digestive issues.

I’ve only seen the sour one on Amazon but they might be elsewhere.
