Depends upon what oil you use. As long as its low on saturates and cholesterol then your fine. I cook with virgin olive oil or sesame or soya oil all are good in moderation. I eat chapatti, Naan and flat breads opposed to our traditional loafs because they are better for my blood sugar. Im sorry I dont know what finger millet is, but Im guessing its a grain so it should be good and rice (brown in particular) is good in moderation - Its all about limiting the amount of carbs you have and balancing it with protein and vegetables - you don't have to stop eating them, just be aware how to limit them. There are a lot of good diabetic websites out there who can help with nutritional values, carb counting and diet planning. Good luck and enjoy your food.
