Nope! No pain there. I use my inner thighs in the summer because I go out on a boat a decent amount and the life vest rubs on it if it’s on my belly.
Where the belly button resides, is to where MY dexcom hides.

Rescan? It goes to my phone automatically. Front of thigh and arm are good for me so I don’t have compression lows at night as a a back and side sleeper. No scanning.
Which CGM do you use?
Mine often loses connection and I have to rescan it.

Technically, you don’t have to scan the libre 3 either but mine disconnects all the time and reconnects when I scan. I’m not disagreeing with you though, I would try it with the G7 and it would never help—just reconnected when it was good and ready
There isn't a way to try it tho with the g7 that's the point. There is no way to scan it like some other brands. It's either connected to your smart device or receiver by Bluetooth or not, if it disconnects from the receiver the CGM stores your BG data until it's reconnected for supposedly up to a day.

Why did someone downvote this, you just shared what you do hahah. I used the G7 for a couple years and I don’t think scanning ever helped it reconnect but I would still try ¯_(ツ)_/¯ It definitely helps to reconnect my libre 3 though

I assumed maybe they’re on a different sensor than the G7 and didn’t know they didn’t all worked the same. *edited the wording

Cgm goes on thighs. I have sensitivity to adhesive on my trunk, so never there. I use my lower abdomen and upper arm for my pump since I rotate that every 2 or 3 days. For some reason the adhesive doesn’t bother my thighs much.
Where on your thigh, if I may ask (closer to knee, mid thigh, inner v outer thigh?).
I wear it from around 2" from my knee nearer the outside than inside. I rotate thighs every 10 days.
I like upper chest or thigh. Wherever I can find enough padding over the muscle and it stays out of the way, basically. Back of the arm is just about the worst option on me.
My trainer had me put my first G6 on my belly.
I think since then I've only ever used the G6 or G7 on my upper arm, on the same side as my pump. I've got a friend who's a type 1 who's put it on the inside of her lower arm as well as on her thigh.
My son does arm, upper butt/lower back, stomach. We tried thigh but readings weren’t great.
My E365 is inserted in my thigh.
I have tried belly but I sweat too much and its in the way of my work. I will however do my pump’s sites on my belly or thigh but have not done many CGM’s there.

A lot of people mentioning belly. I used to do that, but that’s where my insulin pump attaches, so I don’t do CGM there just to minimize belly pokes. It works there though.

Thigh (top) and forearm (outer) are in my usual rotation. When I switch to G7 (as is inevitable), I might change it up a bit more but those are my current favourites.
I use my chest. But given an upcoming mammogram, I've switched to my thigh for that. Wasn't sure if I would like it, but it has been really good there, so far.
