It could be that Adderall isn't right for you. There are many different medications on the market for ADHD besides Adderall, including non-stimulants.
You should talk to your doctor about this to be honest, both your doctor who manages your ADHD meds prescription and your endo who manages your diabetes care. It could be a combination of your meds being wrong and your insulin regime needing adjustments.
"But during that time I feel, for lack of a better description, like I just took a stimulant and am tweaking."
Before even taking into account blood sugar issues and additional meds, you're mixing caffeine and adderall and getting the effects of taking two stimulants at once.
Drinking something sugary is also just a bad idea if you have high blood sugar issues.
