Note to self, never again will I eat dessert before dinner again, and this was roughly 2 hours after I ate but the wings were saucy so that probably added to my spike, from 349 that was my right index finger then 167 was right middle finger and then 162 was right index finger again.

Won't lie went

Be careful about using this app’s extra features, there used to be a feature for motivation while I was using it where it told me to try to stop using insulin and see how long I’d last

Oh my I'm glad I just use it to log my stuff but I think I might delete the app because I need everything to go to Samsung health as it communicates with my work app that I need to report to

Your job monitors you health?

So to properly explain this, my job works with personify health ( healthy pathways) and they monitor/ report to my job to my knowledge, basically they give cash incentives and discounts for premiums as long as I meet certain goals that are all health oriented but also I report them my physical and my vitals so essentially they monitor my health and report back to my job so I can get incentives.

You sure that 10:25 reading wasn’t a fluke? Dropping that much in two mins seems suspect.

jxkingxRRS · · 💙 2 Reply to comment

I am hoping it was because even eating bad it has never got that insanely high, highest i hit but eating a ton of bad stuff was 220, so I don't know what caused it to give it that reading. makes me distrust accu-chek a bit but I read they are supposed to be really reliable. and obviously having it drop by almost 200 points make me really distrust the device.

Did you use an alcohol wipe or wash your hands thoroughly before testing? A bit of sugar on your finger can mix with the blood sample and cause a false high

I think it must’ve been an issue with a contaminated sample or a bad strip because it’s impossible for your BG to drop that much in only two minutes!

Oh now that you say this I tend to use hand sanitizer at times before testing and I didn't know actually know this so thank you for informing me!

On the surface your dmi looks great and probably does your a1c. But the problem is your deviation and Time in range. If suspect you have many lows that pulls uour a1c down. Just looking at this one day screams unstable....unless this was a cheat day ...

While i will say it wasn't a ton of food, now thinking back on last night, yeah maybe I should consider it a cheat day. I had 2 big bites of cookie and ice cream, with some potato wedges and saucy wings. I saved the majority of it but still recognize that i had a bit of everything. Just never hit that high after having this type of food. the worst in my eyes that i have done and with way more food was once at 220 but again comparing it to how much i ate last night was like night and day. I may just have to watch what i eat and how much of i eat even further in the future as my body probably just gets weaker.

Yes that's the thing a bite here and there it all adds up...lol you shouldn't deprive yourself bites lol but maybe eat some fat and protein along side or do solelis (calf raises) for about 10 to 15 min after

I truly eat everything before desserts 🤣 it's a golden rule but I took my bud out for his birthday and he said he wanted dessert first so I was like okay its your birthday so you run the show guess j wint be making that same decision any time soon.
