Depends entirely on the preson and how they react. Some people are high all the time so the body gets used to it (same with lows) and they don't have any symptoms at all.

With me personally I feel really really thirsty and need to pee every 30 mins, and have difficulty seeing clearly with my eyes, like I've been awake for 24 hours and my eyes are just really tired.

Thanks for the reply man.

And out of context but seeing how people like you who fought this disease for so many years makes me wanna fight against it even more now.

I don't get headaches, I will notice that my vision gets momentarily blurry off and on (never longer than a blink) when I'm over 200. Before I got diagnosed I just thought that was something eyes did, but now I recognize it.

When you're used to high numbers the symptoms of high bg tend to fade. In fact, being in normal range for someone like that can feel like a low. It also just depends on the person and how they react to it.

My blood glucose was 23 or 414 freedom units when I was diagnosed and I wasn’t even thirsty. My dad is the same.

I rely heavily on my cgm fit highs but I can feel a low coming on pretty fast.

I get that middle back headache when I’m 59 or lower.

Yes, my headaches correlate with high numbers. I used to just think it was random but once diagnosed I’ve proved that out with a cgm and finger resting

Yep but I have to be VERY HIGH (25mmol/l or more) for it to happen. With CGMs and modern insulin, that’s pretty rare for me. Never a good sign when your meter says HI!

Not all diabetics react to blood sugar levels the same. There is no common symptoms across the board.
