Hi, I am wondering if y'all can tell me a bit about the unofficial apps that connect with a libre3+ cgm. I sleep wildly and the official app won't let you turn off low alerts. I have gotten pressure lows every single night, multiple times. I have done more prick tests daily since I got the cgm th

An unofficial app won’t stop compression lows. They will continue to happen.

I found that using an over patch with a cage on my Dexcom reduces the compression lows. it does not solve it completely.

Any chance you can link the cage you use? Or give me a brand or something... Google has no idea what to do with that. I started by looking for something like that, and I apparently don't have the right vocabulary to find it on my own. It sounds pretty useful. By the end of my second night I had a Gatorade lid ace-bandaged over my CGM, but it didn't stay put.

With the unofficial apps, I was hoping to find one that let me disable alarms, even for super low lows. I would much prefer it as a setting then having to remember to turn off and on Bluetooth every night...with a result of being scared half to death by an alarm if I forget.

No, but unlike the official vendor app, they do allow you to turn off alarms (which may or may not be a good thing).

Personally, I use xdrip+ (because I really want an alarm 30min before going low so I can prevent the hypo) and juggluco (because I cannot figure out how to get xdrip to maintain a Bluetooth connection to the sensor).

It's a bit unfortunate that I need 3 apps for something that should be a basic feature but what can you do?
