I had a similar experience with my Libre 2 last year. I followed every step and the sensor looked perfectly fine, yet the error kept appearing. I remember feeling frustrated because I rely on it daily. After hours of retrying, I replaced it and requested an exchange. From my experience, sometimes the sensor just fails internally, even when everything seems right.
I feel you, I need my sensor to work in order to feel calm. I’m happy to let you know that I called my provider and I was able to get a replacement today :)
